How does it work

Citilab-Cornellà is an experimental Institution dedicated to promote not only the use, but also the construction and innovation of the Information Society. It adopts its own innovation process from the design culture, which lies on the roots of the accelerated creation of new technologies, products, applications and services that have characterized the Information Technologies.
Its diffusion strategy is based on the implication of the diverse agents in construction of knowledge for collaboration. The central core of this process is the project, its generation, follow-up and development. Training based on projects is the base of Citilab-Cornellà's training and dissemination methodology. The project is also the base to the creation of enterprising opportunities, more learning and the way to bring together communities that, at the same time, could generate new projects proposals.
The working cycle around the project is simple, even though it supports many feedback curls:
a) Project Generation
b) Management and Follow-up
c) Development and Learning
Citilab-Cornellà focuses on every dimension of the Information Society's Construction:
• as citizens: stressing the aspects of active participation, typical of the technological culture.
• as technology builders: qualifying for the practice in projects and communities.
• as innovators: motivating to the cooperative construction of new knowledge and showing the cooperation, criticism and responsibility within the development communities.
• as entrepreneurs: facilitating the training and the initial resources to deploy managerial activities based on the things learned and developed at Citilab-Cornellà.
