The photographic self-portrait in the digital era allows everybody to create a work of art intuitively and without having to know the art of photography. The artist Cristina Nuñez has spent years experimenting with children, adolescents and adults of all cultures, helping them to take a self-portrait with her camera, or or proposing the use of digital cameras or mobiles. When they press the button, everybody expresses the natural desire to reinforce their existence and the knowledge that they are producing art.
